As much as I love taking my sweet time applying my makeup, most of the time it’s just not possible.  I’m a busy mom and I always find myself with 5 minutes or less before I have to run out the door.

I want to feel my best, and look a bit more polished, but I need products that are quick and can work double or even triple duty. 

The following products are tried and true.  I have used them for months, or even years, and they are my go-to workhorses on those “run out the door with kid on my heels” days.  I hope that they work in your arsenal as well.

1. 2 in 1 Sunscreen/Tinted Moisturizer:  Elta MD UV Physical Broad-Spectrum SPF 41.  This is my all-time favorite face sunscreen formula that provides a sheer hint of color.  On some days. this can be my one and only base product. 

Unfortunately, it only comes in one shade that works great on my fair skin, but I am not sure how well it would work on those who are darker than the fair/light range. 

It is creamy and glides on like butter.  I love that it has sheer zinc oxide and works on even the most sensitive skin.  This is one of the only formulas that my mom can use without breaking out into a painful rash.

If you have fair/light skin, this is definitely worth a try!

• 3 in 1 Lipstick/Cheek Color/Eyeshadow:  Nudestix Nudies All Over Face Color is the perfect 3 in one face stick.  It comes in a creamy stick formula with a helpful brush on the opposite end.  Depending on your complexion, many of the Nudies colors will work for you.  My favorite is the color “In the Nude”.  It provides the most natural terra cotta look.  Just swipe on lips, pat on cheeks, and dab on eyes and you are good to go, beauty!

• 3 in 1 Eyeshadow, Bronzer, Highlighter:  Bobbi Brown’s iconic Shimmer Brick in bronze is such a wonderful choice when you are in a rush.  It has a gradient of colors that range from shimmering vanilla to deep bronze. 

You can play with your brush placement and use various colors for different needs.  With a small fluffy brush, swipe the lightest color on brow bones, inner corners of the eyes, and high points of the face for a luminous highlight.

Swirl a fluffy blush brush in all of the colors and use it as bronzer with a hint of shimmer.  You can also use any of the shades as an all over the lid shade or crease color.  The possibilities are endless!

Just add in mascara and brows with one or all of these products for a quick cohesive look.  You’ve got this, Mama!
