Formula: Just like the name…buttery and glossy through and through! All of the shades provide so much pigment. The best drug store gloss formula. You must try!

Color: A bright, yet grown up strawberry shade with a punch of hot pink.

Staying Power: This formula is so lovely that I don’t even mind that I have to reapply it after I eat or drink!

Revlon ColorStay Suede Ink in Type A: $9.99

Formula: This new lipstick is the most comfortable matte formulation that I have found in the drugstore. It really does have a soft suede finish that is really flattering on the lips. Not drying at all!

Color: I had so much fun photographing this lipstick next to those juicy strawberries. What an amazing color match. The folks at Pantone would be proud!

Staying Power: The Suede Ink stays for most of the day, and when it wears off it leaves that “I just ate a cherry popsicle by the pool!” look. Stunning!

Sephora Collection #Lipstories Lipstick in Pineapple Express: $10

Formula: Don’t underestimate this lipstick because of the low price tag. It has no problem standing up beside more pricey brands like MAC and Bobbi Brown. If you’re looking for a smooth application with a hint of shimmer this is your next go-to. The packaging is a work of art. Be ready for compliments!

Color: This color packs a tropical fruity punch! It definitely has blue undertones that make it lean toward a purple raspberry tone. A great choice to make your teeth look brighter than the pacific sun.

Staying Power: I give this one a solid B for longevity. It stays on the lips until lunch time, after that a swipe or two might be needed.

Chantecaille Lip Veil Lipstick in Protea: $52

Formula: This French brand is all about the luxurious formulations. It glides on like velvet and has amazing staying power.

Color: The closest to a true red out of bunch. If you are looking for a cool, summery red this would be such a spectacular choice. Just on the berry side of red.

Staying Power: This lipstick stays well, but may need another layer if you want some more of that rich berry color throughout the day.
