I have been in my cozy perfume era, ever since the first leaf changed on the maple in my front yard. Whenever the temperature dips I bring out the faux fur throws, hot coffee with all the cream, and my favorite vanilla scents.

Floral Street Wild Vanilla Orchid is one that I got in last years Anthropologie Beauty Advent Calendar. One sniff brings me back to my childhood, and baking all sorts of vanilla scented confections during the holidays. I can picture my sister and I sitting on the kitchen counter. My mom holding the bottle of vanilla extract before she pours it into the cookie batter. She would often tell us how much she loved the smell and let us breath in the warm fragrance before it was mixed into the luscious mixture. Now, vanilla is something that I closely relate to comfort, home and my lovely mom.

Fragrance Notes: Vanilla is the central note running through this fragrance, but there are other ingredients that cut through to make it not so singular. Jasmine and Red Orchid provide a heady freshness to the fragrance, while bamboo and sandalwood bring you down to earth.

Harp loves Floral Street Wild Vanilla Orchid too, although I do think that she was more interested in the sweet treats! I suggest starting off with the 10 ml travel size, just to see if you like it, but I really can’t picture anyone not adoring this scent. Vanilla is such a universal love, and this one isn’t overly sweet and lasts all day.
